Pipe

Overview-  A DN800 Ductile Iron Pipe was required as a bespoke fabricated solution to connect in between two unaligned pipes. Our process consisted of laser scanning with submillimetre accuracy to enable a 3D model to be created, the scanning was carried out in situ with a key emphasis on accurately aligned scan positions.

3D Print Process-  From the 3D model a scaled version of the pipe and flanges was created using PLA to 0.2mm accuracy, the parts were created to allow others to understand the complex configuration required for the bespoke part to be fabricated.
